About The House of Shine

The House of Shine

Quietly crafted in India, imagined for a global wardrobe.

The House of Shine

For more than eleven years, The House of Shine has grown as a quiet expression of Indian craft. What began as a simple desire to create something beautiful with embroidery has become a studio of considered, hand-finished pieces.

Shine sits at the meeting point of heritage and modern refinement. Each piece is designed to feel at home anywhere in the world, yet every thread remains rooted in India. The intention is simple – to create accessories that feel soft, enduring and deeply personal.

The Hands Behind Shine

Shine is shaped by the hands that create it. India is a powerhouse of artistry – a country where patience, precision and imagination live in every stitch. Our karigars carry techniques and stories that no machine can ever learn.

Their work is detailed, versatile and full of character. As the world moves towards faster production, Shine stands for the craft that must be preserved. Supporting these artisans, protecting their knowledge and giving their work a global platform is at the heart of what we do.

About the Designer & The Vision

My path into design was not traditional – it was emotional. With a background in finance, I found myself quietly drawn to silhouettes, textures and the intimacy of embroidery. Accessories fascinated me because of their ability to transform how a woman feels in a single moment.

Shine’s design language is global in mood and Indian in soul. Each piece is imagined with intention, balancing structure with softness, detail with space. These are not loud statement pieces, but companions that stay with you over time.

Our Philosophy & Our Goal

Shine is built on a simple belief: handmade work holds emotion. Every piece is created slowly and intentionally, respecting both the craft and the person who will carry it. Our work is for the woman who notices the small things – the way a texture catches light, the way a bag completes a memory.

Our goal is to keep India’s embroidery heritage alive, give artisans room to grow, and create accessories that feel universally relevant yet intimately yours. A global design language with a desi touch – that is what The House of Shine represents.

Packaging

Packaging is the first moment of connection — the breath before the reveal. It is intimate, slow, almost sacred. The kind of moment you don’t rush, because something inside you knows it's about to feel special.

Unboxing, to us, is an emotion. The soft glide of a ribbon, the quiet lift of a lid, the gentle rustle of tissue — it becomes part of the memory. You don’t just meet the product; you remember how it made you feel.

At Shine, we design this moment with intention. A Shine box is meant to feel like a personal celebration — a small festival of your own. Soft, warm, and crafted to linger.

Every detail is chosen so that unboxing feels like Christmas came early. The colours, the textures, the layering — everything is created to offer a quiet, luxurious world that belongs only to you.

Because the product is one part of the experience. The feeling is what stays. Shine packaging is for the woman who notices beauty in the small things, who savours the moment, who believes luxury isn’t loud — it’s felt.
